Rabbit

1.门齿过长：也叫下颔颚突变形。有的家兔下门齿向斜上方长出，像倒长的象牙，而上门齿却向嘴里长，变得长而曲折，就象羊犄角相同，严重影响家兔采食，尤其是采食长草时愈加困难，还很容易刺破上颚和齿龈，严重影响家兔的生长发育。

1. Excessive length of incisor teeth: also known as abrupt mandibular jaw. In some rabbits, the lower incisor teeth grow above the oblique direction, like inverted ivory, while the upper incisor teeth grow into the mouth and become long and tortuous, just like the horns of sheep, which seriously affects the rabbit's feeding, especially when it is more difficult to eat grass. It is also easy to puncture the upper jaw and gums, and seriously affects the growth and development of rabbits.

2.八字腿：也称滑水腿。两只腿向斜前方伸出，呈八字形，迈步较困难。八字腿有先天性的，也有后天性的。先天性的可以遗传。

2. Eight-legged: also known as water-skiing leg. The legs stretch forward in an octagonal shape, making it difficult to walk. Eight legs are congenital and acquired. Congenital can be inherited.

后天性的是因为养分不平衡、管理不当(如自幼生活在过于光滑的底网上，身体重心变位，形成腿骨骼变形)等形成的。不管是先天性的还是后天性的，都必须除掉，不能选做种用。

Acquired is due to nutrient imbalance, improper management (such as living in too smooth bottom net, body center of gravity shifting, forming leg bone deformation) and so on. Whether it is congenital or acquired, it must be removed, and can not be used as a seed.

3.垂尻：有的家兔尻部太斜，这样的家兔虽然产肉功能不一定表现差，但配种很不方便，而且外形也不美观，也不宜留作种用。

3. Vertical twitch: Some rabbits have too oblique twitch. Although the meat production function of such rabbits is not necessarily poor, breeding is very inconvenient, and the appearance is not beautiful, and it is not suitable for seed use.

4.垂耳：少数种类的兔耳朵是下垂的，这是本种类固有的特征，如法国垂耳兔 、英国垂耳兔，荷兰垂耳兔。但就大都种类而言，家兔的两耳都应是直立的，因为遗传或后天原因，出现了一个或两个耳下垂，这就属于缺陷，不宜做种用。如果是因为后天形成的，比方，捉兔时只抓两耳，因为体重太大而破坏了耳软骨等，最好也不要选作种用。

4. Lower ears: The ears of a few species of rabbits are drooping, which is an inherent feature of this species, such as French Lower ear rabbits, British Lower ear rabbits and Dutch Lower ear rabbits. However, in most species, both ears of rabbits should be erect, because one or two ears drop due to hereditary or acquired reasons, which is defective and unsuitable for seed use. If it is due to acquired formation, for example, when catching rabbits, only two ears are caught, because the weight is too large and damages the ear cartilage, etc., it is best not to choose as a seed.
